Edith Louise Tandy, 89, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026. She was born in Liberty, KY on September 6, 1936 to the late Sanford and Stella Brown Wilson. She worked for Sylvania and Midway Sewing Factory and was a member of Kings Way Assembly of God. Edith loved the Wildcats and her walking group at Falling Springs.  

Edith is survived by her daughters, Imogene Lewis, Roberta Vice (B.J.), Linda Clifton (Jim), and Patty Wash (Jerry); her son, Gary Tandy, her sisters, Martha Woolums and Carol Payton (Rick), her brother, Clifford Wilson (Judy); her grandchildren, Serena, Miranda, Mary, Kim, Jay, Dawn, Chris, Jonathan, and Tiffany; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; her special aunt, Lola Bernard; as well as several nieces and nephews.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert T. “Bobby” Tandy; her son in law, Robert Lewis; her sister, Mary Roberts; her brothers Earl Wilson and C.D. Wilson; and her granddaughter, Cindy Clifton Watts.   

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Jay Clifton, Tommy Hockensmith, Darian Payton, Carter Pope, Chris Wash, and Austin Wells. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Hawkins, Drew Waford, and Landon Waford. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care Navigators, Alzheimer's Association, or Kings Way Assembly of God.   

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Pathway at Daisy Hill for all the love, care, and support that they showed.
