Sebastiano was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Carmela. He is survived by his three daughters, Giovanna Picardi (Matthew), Giuliana Carnevale (Casey), and Gina Hilliard (Chris), as well as three grandsons, John Walton (Giuliana), Aidan, and Nicholas (Gina and Chris). His family was everything to him, and he cherished the time spent with them, imparting the values of hard work and perseverance that defined his life. Throughout his career as a cabinetmaker and owner of Sebastian’s Custom Woodworking, Sebastiano was renowned for his craftsmanship. He built beautiful custom cabinets, demonstrating an extraordinary ability to work without the technology available today, relying solely on his creativity, diligence, and relentless pursuit of excellence. His work extended beyond his business; he created pieces that became part of his family’s life, teaching his daughters and grandsons not just the skills of woodworking but also the values of dedication and artistry. In addition to his career, Sebastiano was also the proud owner of Dal'Italia restaurant, where he shared his passion for Italian cuisine with the community. He brought people together, fostering connections and joy. A service in honor of Sebastiano Carnevale will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church on February 7th at 11:00 am, followed by a short reception at the School Cafeteria.
