Nicole Michelle "Niki" Sheldon, 47, passed away on January 14, 2026, in Palm Bay, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, laughter, and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Born on January 13, 1979, in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, Niki embodied a vibrant spirit that illuminated the world around her. Her enduring strength, humor, and heart left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Niki is lovingly remembered by her mother, Linda Frohlich; her daughter, Carmen Sheldon; and her aunts and uncles Sandra Voshall, Mariko Takigawa, and Terry DeGeus. She also leaves behind numerous cousins who held special places in her life: DJ, Kristen, Joshua, Patricia, Nathaniel, Nina, Tad, and Spencer. As she joins her grandparents Carmen and Kaume DeGeus; her uncle Dennis DeGeus; and her cousin Rachel DeGeus in rest, her memory will continue to empower those who knew and loved her.
