Born in Denver Colorado, January 7, 1954 passed on January 10, 2026

Parents: Frank A. Bustillos and Ruth M.Garcia-Bustillos. Siblings: Frances Santoya, John Garcia Sr. Frankie Joe Bustillos, Jake Bustillos.  Preceded in death by Phyllis Bustillos.

 

Children: Gilbert Frank Andazola, Angelica Andazola and Frank Jessie Bustillos (wife/daughter in-law: Brandy Lucero-Bustillos)

Grandchildren: Meriah L. Andazola, Gilbert Andazola Jr., Jazzlyn Lucero, Nyaleah “Nia” R. Bustillos and Aaliyah “Lee-Lee” Bustillos.

 

Numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Cousins and many friends. 

Scripture: Her favorite scripture was Psalms-91 (she often recited the psalm) Other Scriptures: 

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Isaiah 52:7

 

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised Luke 4:18

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28; 18-20

3 Things to remember of her:

She served the Lord for approximately 45 years. She was ordained at Now Faith Ministries in 2008. She was a soul winner, she loved evangelism, street ministry outreach.  She involved her children and grandchildren in outreach.  She loved to sing and worship the Lord. 

She enjoyed cooking- tamales and baking, decorating cakes. 

Her favorite words were “I want to live and not die to proclaim the works of the Lord.” Psalms 118;17  In the few days before the Lord took her home she said,” Death is for people who have given up. I haven’t given up. Death is for someone who has one foot in the grave and one foot out.  I still have both of my feet planted on Him.”

 

Visitation, Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 10:00am Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am, at New Hope Ministries, 875 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO  Memorial Reception after service.
