Mr. John Henry Dooley, age 86, died on January 22, 2026, at his residence.
John was born in Lexington County. He was the son of the late Henry M. Dooley and Annie Meetze Dooley. John owned his own boating business before retiring.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ruby Doolittle of Chester, SC; one brother, Henry Dooley of Lexington; one daughter, Debbi Drafts of Prosperity, SC; grandchildren Selena, Lenia, Brittany, Stephanie, and John; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Dooley; a daughter, Debbie Dooley; a brother, Jimmy Dooley; and one grandson, Thomas R. Steele.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date and time for family and friends.
