Wayne F. Jolin, a man whose sense of humor was as vast as his heart, made his final exit on January 21, 2026, just six days after his beloved wife, Frances Davis Jolin. A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a service where he will be laid to rest with Frances at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Friends and family are encouraged to bring their best stories—no pressure, but Wayne always appreciated a solid punchline.
Born on January 7, 1944, in Worcester, Massachusetts to the late M. Lee and Madeline (Aldrich) Jolin, Wayne embodied the spirit of loyalty and honesty, traits that he carried with him throughout his life. After proudly serving 24 years in the United States Air Force, Wayne transitioned to a new career as a tow truck driver. Not only did he love his job, but he also had a talent for “picking up” and rescuing more than just vehicles, often bringing back tales of roadside adventures that left everyone in stitches.
Wayne is survived by his cherished children, Janice (Randy) Cobb, Jerry (Veronica) Humphrey, Michele (Craig) Casey, David (Jerri Lynn) Ramsay, and Phillip (Anna) Jolin; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He cared deeply and would want nothing but the best for them. He leaves behind a loving family, including siblings Karen (James) Pekola of Sherrill, New York, Madeline McCue of Fiskdale, Massachusetts, Lee (Gary) Ozias of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Rita (Joseph) LaViolette of Winchester, Massachusetts, who will surely miss his sharp wit and hearty laughter.
Though he has left this earthly realm, Wayne's legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. In the grand towing operation of life, he may have driven off into the sunset, but he certainly leaves behind a collection of memories that will keep his spirit alive well beyond the last chuckle.
Please sign the online registry book and leave a personal condolence for the family.
