Patrick Garms, most recently a resident of Waukesha, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the age of 74. Pat was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 29, 1951, to the late Bette (Garms) Landry and Rodney Garms. Throughout his life, Pat wore many hats, transforming a career in baking into sales and eventually into ownership of several businesses. His last adventure was being the CEO of Neon Majic, Inc in West Allis.

Pat spent many years living in Brampton, Ontario where he earned his nickname of “Coach” as he was a well-loved youth baseball coach to many teams. His biggest highlight would be coaching his son’s team to become back-to-back division champions.  He was a member of the Brampton Minor Baseball, Inc (BMBI). Pat was a big fan of watching any baseball or football on TV, and could talk about any players, especially about those Brewers and Packers! He also loved fishing with family on the lake and was known for putting on phenomenal firework shows to celebrate the 4th of July.  Pat leaves us with the memory of his sense of humor where, no matter the situation, he made those around him laugh.

Pat is survived by his son, Christopher, as well as his siblings Linda (Thomas) O’Mahar, Robert Garms, Susan (Joe) Cannella, Jeffrey (Dawn) Garms, Michael (Ora) Garms, Jill Bachhuber, John (Lisa) Garms, and Julie (Robert) Bell, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Pat is also preceded in death by his brothers Daniel and Billy Joe.

A celebration of Patrick’s life will take place at a later date for his family.  The family wishes to express a sincere thank you for the exceptional care provided to Pat by the staff at Angels Grace Hospice, Oconomowoc.
