Eddy Don Allen, age 84, passed away peacefully at his home on January 18, 2026, ready to be with his Maker, leaving behind a family who will forever cherish his memory.
Eddy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was marked by faith, dedication, and quiet strength. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his children, Kimberly (Bud), Steven, Laurie (Dale), Sally (Dawn), and Katie (Rick); and Carol's daughter, Jennifer (Jim). He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Hazel Jeanette Allen; father, Edward Lee Allen; brother, Gary Allen; and son, Scott.
A man of God, Eddy's faith guided his life and his decisions. His church and church family were deeply dear to him, providing fellowship, purpose, and spiritual grounding throughout the years. He lived his beliefs through kindness, humility, and service, and he took comfort in knowing he was prepared to meet his Lord.
Eddy proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying those values of duty and integrity with him long after his service ended. He went on to build a long and accomplished career as a welder, later retiring from The Boeing Company as an engineer, reflecting his intelligence, skill, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Eddy had a lifelong love of cars. Whether admiring their design, talking engines, or appreciating fine craftsmanship, automobiles brought him genuine joy and reflected his hands-on nature and curiosity.
Eddy was a man who led quietly but faithfully, loving deeply and standing firm for those around him. While he will be greatly missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace and has gone home to be with the Lord he loved and served.
