Cassandra Paulette Olson, 46, of Tempe, Arizona, sadly passed away on January 12, 2026. Cassandra was born in Oxnard, California on April 29, 1979. She graduated from Channel Island High School and was an outstanding softball player. Her last employment was working as a Teacher’s Aide at Tempe Montessori School. She was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. She also loved to read. Cassandra was a loving and caring person. She would always help anyone who was in need. She will be greatly missed!

Cassandra is survived by her son, Andrew Olson, who was the light of her life; step-mother, Teresa Olson; sisters, Gloria Michelle Contreras (Marcos), Bianca Gloria, Olivia Turner, Emily Olson, and Angelina Ruiz; brothers, Nathaniel Olson, Joshua Olson, and Abraham Olson; uncles, Albert Huerta, Alex Moraga, and Kenneth Olson Jr; Aunt, Susan Middaugh; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cassandra is preceded in death by her father, Charles Andrew Olson; mother, Cynthia Yvonne Garcia; brother, Carlos Olson, and sister, Rachel Olson.

A visitation will be held January 30, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm with service to begin at 5:00pm located at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald, Mesa, AZ 85201.
