Betty Ann Mitchell, 93, from Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Betty is preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Diane Mitchell; her mother, Dolores “Lola” Sesma; her sister, Mary Elter; and her brother, Dante Sesma. She is survived by her son, George S. Mitchell and his wife, Cheryl Mitchell; her son, John R. Mitchell and his wife, Benita S. Mitchell; her sister, Martha George, and her nieces, nephews, and grandsons.

Betty worked as a school bus driver, a van driver for seniors at Easter Seals; and a van driver for the City of Albuquerque Senior Affairs. She enjoyed spending time with her sons, John and George Mitchell; and her sister, Martha George.

Grave side services will be held at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM Thursday. January 29, 2026, at 10:30 am. Betty will be placed to rest next to her mother, Dolores Sesma
