Courtney “Chic” Chen, 89 of Largo, passed away 1/16/2026 at Morton Plant Hospital. He was born August 14, 1936 and raised in Kingston, Jamaica.
He migrated to New York where he resided for many years before moving to Florida.
He is survived by his daughter Paula and son Andrew; siblings Avery and Lorrie; grandchildren Jahrew, Amina, Zuri, Aziel and Jahrell.
He enjoyed fishing, cooking and listening to music. He was also a good storyteller and loved to tell stories from his childhood and younger years. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Courtney/Chic will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
