With sadness and fond memories we announce the passing of Anthony Lee Gigliotti (Tony) on the morning of December 25, 2025.
The beloved son of Belinda and Robert Gigliotti, Tony was born in Seattle, Washington on August 26th, 1980.
For most of his life Edmonds, Washington was his hometown. While attending Edmonds-Woodway High School an interest in architecture classes inspired him to continue his studies at a local college.
Tony is best remembered by the things he loved the most. More than anything, he loved his family. Almost daily phone conversations with his mother and father meant the world to them. Tony looked up to his siblings and cherished time spent with them, visiting in person or by phone or text as much as possible. Through the years, many kitty family members chose his lap, earning him the status of a proud cat whisperer.
Tony also loved his friends, caring deeply for them all and always excitedly sharing the grand adventures they had together. He possessed an empathetic spirit that genuinely connected with people from all walks of life.
Childhood years as a scout shaped an outdoorsman with a love for hiking and camping, being outside in fresh air. Driven by endless curiosity about the world, Tony pursued lifelong learning with a scientific bent. He loved the arts, drawing and sculpture in particular. You could often find him drawing and creating many outstanding illustrations in a unique style all his own. He loved parties, holidays, gatherings of all kinds. Always available to talk, conversations were either deep and thoughtful or as he liked to say ”just palaver.” His funny, kind, and caring qualities made him an old soul who took time to appreciate the simple, quiet moments in life.
While difficult to single out one thing as a favorite interest, music is perhaps top of the list. Tony was a piano player (by ear) and enthusiastically enjoyed playing keyboard, and jamming with friends. Live concerts were a favorite activity, especially when accompanied by his siblings and their friends, also with his friends. Tony loved music so much that he became a top 1% streamer in the country, a status he was proud to reach.
Surviving family includes sister Anna Gigliotti, brother Travis Gigliotti, parents Belinda Gigliotti and Robert Gigliotti, his beloved kitties Randall Thor and Betsy Lou, and many loving extended family members.
With acknowledgment of Tony’s own health issues, in lieu of flowers the family would suggest a donation to medical research or causes: NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), American Diabetes Association (ADA), Lighthouse for the Blind, or any health related cause close to your heart.
SAVE THE DATE: A Celebration of Life will be hosted by Tony's family in Edmonds, WA on Sunday, April 12, 2026. Further details regarding the location and time will be updated late February on the Becks Tribute Center memorial website and on Facebook .
