Gloria Ann Rue Dominguez, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was 80 years old.

Gloria was born June 12, 1945, to Cedric and Ecelia (Franco) Rue in Roswell, New Mexico.  Gloria was married to Joe Dominguez on June 29, 1963

Gloria dedicated her life to her family, they were her biggest achievement and greatest adventure, she was always there with a listening ear and a warm embrace, always had a smile on her face. She loved the holidays and gathering with family, going to garage sales and thrift stores. She Loved to sing and hum out of nowhere even if there was no music playing. She enjoyed embroidering and crafts.

Gloria was a home daycare provider while her children grew up, then had retail positions until she moved to Albuquerque where she was a Smith’s deli associate, then took a position at an elementary school in the lunchroom. She loved to see all the kids smile. She eventually retired.

Survived by her husband Joe Dominguez, Children - Annette Ariaz, husband Marcus, Sally Eakes, husband Justin and Bridget Santoyo, husband Michael. Grand Children - Nicole Ariaz, Marcus Joseph Ariaz, wife Emilee and Michael Paul Santoyo. Step Grand Children - Gavin Eakes and Nevaeh Eakes. Great Grand Children - Lailaa Rue Imboden-Ariaz, Sylus Ariaz and Baylee Ariaz. Sister - Lucy Rodriguez

She is preceded in death by her Parents - Cedric Rue and Ecelia (Franco) Rue, Brother - Jim Franco and Sisters - Margie Rue, Beatrice Sisneros, Virginia Rue, Lorina Rodriguez and Betty Wulf.
