Robert (Rob) Henry Turnquist, 64, of Walker MN, passed away on January 28, 2026 from a quick agonizing battle with cancer. He was born June 14, 1961. Rob married the love of his life, Amy, starting their grand adventures over 44 years ago.  Rob treasured his family above all; he especially cherished his two children Louise (Jason) and Sam.  Rob was a beloved brother to Tom (Tami), SaraJane (Dave), and Beth, and brother-in-law to Peggy (Rob), Mitzi (Randy), Patrick (Anne), Peter (Diane), Andrew (Francie), Joseph (Heather), and Matthew (Kristi).  Rob was a dear uncle to 40 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rob was a faithful, exuberant, and compassionate man with a strong zest for life; he will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by his son Sam, his mother Ruth Piepgras, and his father Donald Turnquist.

A visitation will be held at Church of the Assumption in St. Paul, MN on Wednesday, February 4th from 9:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. Mass of Christian burial at 10:00a.m. Luncheon to follow in church gathering space.
