Beverly Hansen of Chapin, SC passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was 88 years old and lived a full, rich life. Known to her loved ones as “Grammy”, she was born on January 28, 1937 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and spent most of her life in New England, with very close ties to the Boston area.

She was the daughter of the late William Whiteman and Elizabeth (Parker) Whiteman. She was the beloved wife of the late David Hansen. They were married in the city of Boston on March 8, 1955, and raised three children who survive her, Christina Lynn Faulkner (Richard), Donna Jean Lee (David) and David Mark Hansen (Kathleen). Grammy is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded by her sister, Patricia Whiteman, brother, William Whiteman and survived by sisters, Carol Mills (N. Billerica, MA) and Susan DiMarzo (Winchester, MA).

Beverly and her husband, David were devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ and served him through various local churches and international ministries, including In Touch Ministries and Operation Mobilization over the course of their life together. David, who passed away in 2010, suffered from Parkinson’s Disease and Beverly was his primary caregiver for almost 40 years. Their life was full of faith and family, and they impacted many people all over the world with their commitment to the gospel.

Beverly will be buried next to her husband David this coming summer of 2026 at their family plot in Waterbury, Vermont.
