David Wayne Harrison, 69, of Wilmore, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on January 28, 2026. Born on July 30, 1956, David lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.

 

David was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and T. Harrison; his brother, Mike; and his sister, Judy. He leaves behind his wife of many years, Sherry (Webb) Harrison, who was the love of his life. Together they built a family that was David’s greatest pride.

 

He is survived by his four children, fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who he was so proud of and cherished so much. Children: Lisa (Brian) Howe, David (Amber) Harrison, Matthew Harrison, and Rebecca (Joshua) Hendren. Grandchildren: Sarah, Christopher, Sierra, Davey, Trey, Emma, Abigail, Mason, Jack, Ava, Sophia, Luke, Liam, and Benjamin; and 2 great-granddaughters: Arianna, and Eleanor.

 

David is also survived by his brothers, Jerry (Cheryl), Donnie, T-Boy, and Joe (Michele); his sister-in-law, Darlene Harrison; nieces, Kimberly and Ashley; and numerous other beloved nieces, nephews, family members, and friends whom he held close to his heart.

 

A master plumber, David was known for his craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others. His Christian faith was central to his life and shaped the way he lived, loved, and served others. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, metal detecting, playing bingo, and visiting the casino—simple pleasures that brought him joy.

 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate David’s life on February 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Christian Church, 1991 Bethel Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356.David’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched along the way.
