It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Debra Marrow Christenbury, who passed away in the early morning hours of January 27th at the age of 74.

Debra was a devoted wife, a loving mother, sister, and grandmother, and a woman of unwavering faith. She placed her trust fully in God’s hands throughout her life, a faith that guided her every step and led her to her church home at Trinity Baptist Church. There, she formed deep and lasting friendships with many wonderful women who became like family to her.

Known lovingly among her church family as “Little Mrs. Moses,” Debra was rarely seen without her walking canes and her determined spirit. Her strength, kindness, and quiet humor left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Debra survived by her husband, Ray; her two sons, David (Haley McGuffin) and Kenny ( Lindsey McGinnis); her cherished granddaughter, Paisley; and her brothers, Mike (Beth) Marrow , David (Clemmie) Marrow , and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends. Her family was her greatest pride, and she gave her love selflessly and without condition.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, her faith, love, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

The Funeral Ceremony will be held 11am Saturday, February 7th at, at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service. The Visitation will begin at 10am.

The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
