Larry Dale Turner, 82 of Ocala, Florida passed away on January 20th, 2026. He was born on July 17th, 1943, in Hammond, Indiana.
He graduated from High School in Griffith, Indiana before enlisting in the US Army where Larry served for 23 years.
Larry married Mary Jane on September 8th, 1971, in Port Huron, Michigan.
His hobbies included bowling, dancing, reading, and loving his wife. Larry was also involved with St. John’s Lutheran Church and Christian Businessmen.
He is preceded in death by his mother; Martha, father; Hurchel, stepfather; Jim, brothers; Jim and Mike and his daughter; Sonia
He is survived by his wife; Mary Jane of Ocala, Florida, son; Danny of Winchester, Virginia and his two granddaughters; Kayla Winchester, Virginia and Rio, Canada.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00pm at St John Lutheran Church with Pastor Jeff Shanks, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church officiating. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
