Jerry Harrison of Encino, New Mexico, passed away peacefully in his home on December 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on September 13, 1960, Jerry spent his life rooted in the community he loved and proudly called home.

Jerry was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 47 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Beatrice Harrison. High school sweethearts, they were married on December 16, 1978, beginning a lifetime partnership built on love, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to family.

A man of service and integrity, Jerry dedicated much of his life to helping others. He proudly served as Fire Chief and volunteered with Encino Fire and Rescue, and also served for several ambulance services as an EMT. Jerry was a certified EMT, First Aid Instructor, and MSHA instructor, and he worked for many years at the Encino Rock Quarries, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

Jerry found his greatest joy spending time with those he loved, whether gathered together at home or sharing everyday moments. He enjoyed flying drones and was a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Beatrice Harrison; his son Michael Harrison and daughter-in-law Jaclyn Harrison; grandchildren Cyrus Harrison, Emory Harrison, Cassius Harrison, and Scarlet Harrison; his daughter Sara Harrison; grandchildren Jerome Anaya (Devona Jojola), Adara Anaya, and Anthony Salazar; and great-granddaughter Aziza Anaya.

He is also survived by his siblings Mike Harrison, Tana Ballard and brother-in-law Troy Ballard, Susie Clark, and Barbara Bounds, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Harrison and Thelma Harrison; brothers Kenny Harrison, George Harrison, Ronnie Harrison, and Robert Harrison; and sisters Pearl Ray Harrison, Margaret Veuthey, Deanna Holocker, Norma Ortiz, and Thelma Jewel Harrison.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caring team at Anvoi Hospice Care for their compassion, kindness, and support.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with details to be determined.

Jerry will be remembered as a kind, caring, and dependable man, a loving husband, a devoted father, and a loyal friend. His legacy of service, family, and strength will live on in the many lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
