Jane Masuda, 80, a resident of Galt, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 21st in Lodi, CA.

Jane was born and raised in San Jose, CA with her five brothers and sisters.

In 1973, Jane met Gary Masuda and they were married in 1974. Gary and Jane made their home in San Jose and had two daughters. Jane worked at Pacific Coast Producers in Santa Clara and relocated to Galt when the company moved to Lodi in 1991. She worked for Pacific Coast Producers for 30 years .Gary and Jane were excited to welcome their grandchildren in 2014 and 2017.

Jane loved going to the movies, wine tasting, spending time with her grandchildren and sharing her recliner with her beloved dog, Winston. She was a sports fan dedicated to the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland A’s. She loved the holiday season, making fudge for friends, family, and favorite clerks at stores in Galt and Lodi. Jane was a devoted Christian who taught children ministries for many years at churches in Lodi and Woodbridge. Following her cancer diagnosis, Jane leaned heavily on her faith, always had a positive outlook, and determined to beat this terrible disease.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed.
