Susan G. perry, 58, of Syracuse, New York passed away, January 28th, unexpectedly at home. Born in Syracuse to Robert and Lois Strutz. Sue worked for East Syracuse-Minoa Central School District’s Transportation Department for many years.

 

If you knew Sue, you know she loved her family dearly, but Rippy a bit more. Sue had a love for coloring and sharing her artwork with others.

 

Sue was predeceased by her parents.

 

She is survived by her son, Brian Bard, daughter, Sarah Bard (Harold Wilber II), 3 granddaughters, Sierra, Izabella and Milli, brothers, Butch (Tina) Strutz, Jeff (Debbie) Strutz, Mark Strutz, Patrick Strutz and Chuck (Ann) Strutz, sister, Jennifer (Dan) Marsh, several nieces and nephews, and of course her beloved cat, Ripper “Rippy”.

 

A memorial service for sue will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 from 11AM-12PM, at Atonement Lutheran Church, 116 West Glen Ave Syracuse, NY 13205. A time for fellowship and sharing will follow.
