She is survived by 2 sisters, Eleanor 100 and Doreen 94. She had 3 children Bill, Pat and Cindy, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was born at home in Alliance, Ohio and moved to Homeworth, Ohio in 1944. She met her husband Richard at age 14 riding home on the school bus. She was employed as the first drive up teller in Alliance with her bubbly personality. Ilene and Richard married in 1951 and she lived a full and adventurous life in Colorado and they traveled the world together. She will be missed terribly and is always in our hearts.
Celebration of life to be held a Shepard of the Hills, 11500 W 20th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80215 on March 18th, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
A reception will follow at the church.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Foothills Animal Shelter, 580 McIntyre Str, Golden, CO 80401.
