Jeanette M. "Jean" Kotula, age 91, of Maplewood, died peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday February 19, 2026. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her children; son, Tom (Gaelyn Newbury) Kotula; daughters, Sandy (Mike) Stahnke and Nancy (Ed) Marah; grandchildren, Mike (Kaydi) Stahnke, Jr. and Sara (Nick) Bjerken; step-grandchildren, Jenny (John) Chapman, Derek, and Amanda (Zach) Donaghy; 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Les, the love of her life, parents and 7 siblings. Visitation will be held at 11:00AM with Funeral Mass at 12:00PM Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Church of Saint Peter Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Special thanks to St. Croix Hospice for their excellent care especially Jenny. For those who wish to make a donation in Jean's memory, please donate to a charity of your choice.
