Dominick Frank Giambrone was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a caring neighbor — someone who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He carried himself with quiet strength, dignity, and class throughout his entire life.

Dominick proudly served two years in the United States Army during the 1960s. During his time in the military, he was known for his reliability, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility — qualities that would define both his career and his character throughout his life. He put his heart into everything he committed his time and energy to, always someone others could depend on.

After the military, he attended Brooklyn Community College, where he earned his Associate's Degree specializing in Mechanical Engineering. He spent three decades at AT&T, which later became Verizon. As the Area Operations Manager for the Control Center of New York State, Dominick worked closely with the Governor's office to restore the communications network after the horrific events of 9/11. His coworkers often remarked that Dominick “always exhibited class,” and that their time together was filled with fun, laughter, and genuine camaraderie.

It was rare to meet anyone who didn't have a kind word to say about Dominick. He was known for his warm smile and gentle humor, especially within his community of Westchester Gardens in Venice, Florida, where he moved in 2005 after his retirement. He was deeply loved by his neighbors — not only for the thoughtfulness he showed in times of need, but for the everyday warmth he brought to those around him. Described by many as a "true gentleman" in every sense of the word, Dominick was kind, funny, thoughtful, and always gracious. He even had some smooth moves on the dance floor, despite a knee that didn't always want to cooperate.

Family meant everything to Dominick. When he moved to Florida, the devoted son brought his mother Mary with him and lovingly cared for her until she was nearly 102 years old. It gives their loved ones peace knowing they are together again, along with Dominick's father, Dominick Sr., his oldest brother, Sal and his youngest brother, Frank.

It was his daughters, Lisa and Nicole, who were the greatest joys of Dominick's life. And becoming a grandfather to Spencer brought him a whole new kind of happiness — one filled with pride, tenderness, and boundless love. His kindness and unwavering belief in them will remain in their hearts forever.

Cherished son, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and caring neighbor — Dominick leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and quiet goodness. He was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
