Tharan Lee Cook May 21,1943 – February 12, 2026 Tharan (Terry) was born in Odell, Nebraska on May 21, 1943, to John and Edna Cook. He passed away February 12, 2026 in Homedale, Idaho. Terry was the oldest of 4 children. After graduating from Barneston High School in 1961, he joined the Navy. While stationed in California he met and married Pauline Schulze. They had two children, Christi and Tharan Jr. After Terry left the Navy, they lived in Barneston and Stella, Nebraska; finally moving to Idaho. He worked in the nuclear field until his retirement. In his spare time, he played on pool leagues and was a trapshooter. Terry leaves behind his wife Pauline of 62 years, daughter and son-in-law Christi and Greg Hill, son and daughter-in-law Tharan Jr and Wendy Cook, grandchildren Brianne Hill, Dakota Hill, and 2 great-grandchildren. His brother Robert D. Cook and sister Jean Novotny, their spouses and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his parents John and Edna Cook and brother Jim Cook.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 20226 at 11:00 am at the Idaho State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boise Idaho.
