Luther L. “Luke” Allen II, 63, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

 

Born on February 4, 1963, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Luke was the son of Luther Allen and Shirley Allen. After high school, Luke graduated with honors from DrVry University with an associate degree in Electronics. Luke built a long and dedicated career as a telecommunications technician in Arizona.

 

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with those he loved, and he will be remembered for his tenacity, his humor, and the deep care he felt for his family.Luke was preceded in death by his father, Luther L. Allen; his mother, Shirley E. Allen; and his brother, Scott T. Allen.

 

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Wendy (Jolowsky) Allen, who shared every joy and hardship by his side; his love for her was steadfast, shaped by the trials and triumphs they weathered together. He is also survived by his son, Garrett P. Allen of Seattle. He held a deep and unwavering pride in his son, who remained the brightest joy and truest accomplishment of his life; in him, he found the most cherished part of his own journey. 

 

He is survived by his brother, Howard Allen; and sister, Chella DiMenza. He is also fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Capri (Kenneth) Komprood, Clayton (Brandi) Allen, Jordan Allen, Jason Allen, Tyler (Megan) DiMenza, Lacey Allen, Tara (Garrett) Shotts, Samantha Allen (Kaleb), along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

 

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice organization in Scottsdale for their compassionate care.

 

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
