Claudia Marie Christo (Zajicek)

February 6, 1977 – February 6, 2026

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Claudia Marie Christo on February 6, 2026 - her 49th birthday.  Claudia was born in Libertyville, IL to Jim and Anna Zajicek.

Claudia carried a childhood spirit—tough, bold, and famously sassy—into every room she entered. She was a natural planner, remarkably adept at balancing a high-octane engineering career with the beautiful chaos of family life. Whether she was managing her career or navigating the busy hockey and school schedules for her son Travis, she did so with a grace and determination that earned her "Rockstar" status among all who knew her.

Claudia truly lived a life of purpose, and while she was deeply respected in her professional field, her greatest pride was her family. She found immense joy in traveling with Bryce and Travis, often following the hockey schedule to new places to cheer Travis on. Whether she was at a tournament, practicing at the rink, or supporting his education, she always prioritized her son’s happiness and growth above all else. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Claudia left us far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of strength, brilliance, and a wit that will never be forgotten.

Claudia is survived by her loving husband, Bryce Christo; her cherished son, Travis Christo; her parents, Jim and Anna Zajicek; her sister, Natasha Zdobylak; and her niece and nephew, Ariana and Justin Zdobylak. She lived with a beautiful spirit that had so much more to do and so much more to give.

A Memorial service to celebrate Claudia’s remarkable life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Wyman Cremation and Burial Chapel, located at 115 S. Country Club Drive, Mesa, AZ 85210.
