Jose is survive by his wife, Irma Curiel, son, Jorge (Jennifer) Curiel, grandkids: Arianna, Jorge, Jessica, and Jacob, brother, Victor, sisters: Cecilia, Maria Auxiliadora, and Rosa, and many nieces and nephews.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Rosauro Hernandez, and siblings, Alvaro and Yolanda.
Jose worked for the mine in Cananea before retiring to live in Arizona. Jose was a simple man who enjoyed gardening and being outside.
