Ana Luisa Garcia Mendez was born on February 28, 1935, in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. On February 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her granddaughters and the faith that guided her life, she went home to be with the Lord on her 91st birthday.
Ana was big-hearted, caring, and deeply loving. She poured herself into her family, her church, and her community with unwavering devotion. She faithfully served as Lead Pastor of Iglesia Principe de Paz, where she dedicated her life to ministry and sharing God’s word. Her faith was not just something she preached — it was something she lived daily.
One of the things her family will miss most is asking her ask La Bendición — a simple but sacred tradition that reflected her deep belief in honoring, covering, and loving her family through prayer and blessing. It was her way of reminding everyone that God was always at the center.
Her favorite saying was, “God above all else.” She lived those words fully, and now she rests in the presence of the God she loved above all else.
