Loading
Dave was born on January 2, 1948, to Rebecca and Modesto Lara in Pueblo, Colorado. He was the firstborn and had five siblings. He fell madly in love with Marcella and married her on June 5, 1965. They moved to California and had two daughters, Suzanne and Linda. They later moved back to Colorado and had three more daughters, April, Jarah, and Janel.
Dave dedicated his life to Jehovah God and was baptized in 1978. He loved his Heavenly Father and had unwavering faith for the remainder of his life. He always told others about Jehovah and the blessings and hope for the future.
Dave was passionate and loved his family fiercely. He was extremely close to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He constantly talked about how happy his heart was when he was with them.
Dave loved Jehovah’s creation and always described his travel experiences, from the Napali Coast in Hawaii to Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon.
He always tried to make everyone laugh and said he had lived his best life.
