Sylvia V. Haubold, 88, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 4, 1937, in California to Ysidro and Antonia Valenzuela, she was the beloved matriarch of our family.

Sylvia was more than a grandmother; she was our mentor, confidante, and guiding light. She spent her life creating a warm and loving home where the door was always open, and the kitchen was always filled with delicious aromas and loud laughter. She taught us the importance of prayer, compassion, resilience, hard work, fashion, and unconditional love. Whether she was cooking, cleaning, or sharing stories with her signature laugh, her presence was the glue that held us together. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone in her life feel like they were her favorite.

She was amazing in every sense of the word—fashionable, classy, strong, and just the right amount of sassy. Our grandmother built her cleaning business from the ground up with nothing but faith in God, determination, and a work ethic that never quit. For over 40 years, her company stood strong, serving both commercial and residential clients with excellence and pride. She didn’t just clean spaces—she elevated them. Her reputation for integrity and perfection opened doors to the homes of well-known athletes, a testament to the trust and respect she earned. She carried herself with grace, humor, and confidence, proving that you can be polished, prayerful, and powerful all at the same time. She didn’t just build a business; she built a legacy.

She is survived by her son, Adam (Ruby) Carrasco; granddaughters, Margeux, Ashlee, and Sha-Neil; great-grandchildren, Cruz, Ryder, Adam, Daniel, Monet, Moet, Amare, Raymond, Faith, Kierra, Jordan, and CJ; and great-great-grandchildren, Unitee and Nae’liya.

She is also survived by her daughter, Christina Camille Carrasco; granddaughter, Lisa Marie; and great-grandchildren,                                                                                                                                         Alani, Robert Jr., Ryan, Gianna, Alyssa, and Roman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ysidro and Antonia Valenzuela; her husband, Luis Haubold; and her siblings, Valentine Valenzuela, Sally Teran, Roy Valenzuela, and Anna Gutierrez.

She is survived by her siblings, Ysidro Valenzuela, Ramona Araiza, Bobby Valenzuela, Stella Valenzuela, and Sonja V. Campuzano, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
