Mark Anthony Tyza, 65, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Born October 19, 1960, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, Mark was the son of the late Eugene and Lee Tyza. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his son, Michael Anthony Tyza.

He is survived by his children: Nicholas Eugene Tyza and Leanne Rani Tyza; His four Sisters and Brothers in Law: Leslie Ann (William) Kruse, Deborah Ann (Konstantinos) Kapordelis, Jennifer Ann (John) Ziza, and Jeanne Ann (Gordon) Cole; His Nieces and Nephews: Andrew, Kathryn (Joshua), Andrew, John (Adrianna), Alexander (Lucielle), Jessica, and Leia; Three Step-Nieces and Nephews: John Peter (Melissa), Katherine (Chris), and Laine; and his Great Nieces and Nephews: Eva, Mateo, and Camilo Ziza, Mara and Andi Kapordelis, Kaylee Kruse and Tobin Cole.

Mark spent his career as a luxury car salesman — not just by profession, but by passion. He had a natural gift for connecting with people, remembering names, telling stories, and making every client feel like they were driving away in more than just a vehicle. He appreciated craftsmanship, precision, and the quiet confidence of something built to last — qualities he carried within himself.

Mark was a devout Catholic his whole life and spent his childhood attending St. Mary’s Catholic School. He also held a deep sense of patriotism and respect for his country. Mark valued the freedoms and opportunities it provided and took pride in being an American. He found freedom on his motorcycle, riding through the mountain roads with the wind at his back and the horizon in front of him. Those rides were his reset — where the world slowed down and the view stretched endlessly ahead. In Charlotte, Mark loved looking out from his high-rise apartment in Uptown, watching the city lights flicker to life at night. One of the many things he appreciated about life was a good view.

Leaving behind a legacy of strength, style, and deep love for his family, Mark carried his Midwestern roots with pride throughout his life - no matter where the road took him.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at St. Peter’s Church in Mt. Clemens, MI.

In state visitation – 9:30 AM

Mass Service – 10:00 AM

Luncheon immediately following at Fern Hill Golf Club in Clinton Township, MI
