Josette Sandoval, 50, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on February 27, 2026. She was born on March 28, 1975, in Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Marie Sandoval; her grandparents, Mary Sandoval and Joe Tranquilino; and her uncle, Luis Sandoval “Chief.” Josette is survived by her husband, Richard Lucero; her children Adrian Sandoval, Tilo Sandoval, Isiah Sandoval, Jeremiah Sandoval, Angelo Sandoval, Taija Sandoval, Joziah Sandoval, and Rickie Sandoval; sisters, Shana Smith and Amanda Sandoval. She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, along with numerous aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends who will cherish her memory. Josette was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching sports and cheering on her favorite teams, but nothing brought her more joy than being with her grandchildren. Family meant everything to her, and she made sure everyone around her felt loved and supported. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Josette’s life will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at St. Cajetan Catholic Church.
