Kay Condra Goff, age 84, peacefully ascended to glory on March 5, 2026. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. We celebrate her life as a devout Christian. Kay suffered with dementia and it was such a Blessing to know that she never forgot her Lord and Savior’s name even up to her passing.

She was born November 4, 1941, in Chattanooga, TN. Kay was born to loving parents, Grover Cleveland Condra and Agnes Meadows Condra. Kay graduated from Central High School in Chattanooga, TN in 1959. In high school, Kay was an Honor Student and Band Officer.

Kay married her high school sweetheart, Billy L. Goff in Chattanooga and got married on May 21, 1961. Kay and Bill had the most beautiful marriage over the years and were inseparable. Kay did a great job of raising their two children and in later years worked alongside Bill in the shoe industry. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Kay was a beautiful lady in every way imaginable. She always kept herself in great shape as an avid walker either alone or with her friends. She and her husband enjoyed spending time at their second home, which many years ago was on Lake Norman, then their farm in Lancaster, SC and followed by the mountain house in Mountain City, TN. The door was always open and she thoroughly enjoyed having family and friends visit. Kay was always her happiest on the water, whether it was on the lake, beach or on a boat. Her smile was always bright like the sun.

Kay Goff is preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, Billy L. Goff, father G.C. Condra and mother, Agnes Condra.

She is survived by her two children, Gregory L. Goff and his wife Ginger, and Dee Goff Ward and her husband Steven; grandchildren Gregory T. Goff (Kinsley), Taylor Brown (Matt), and Steven Ward (Lindsey); and eight great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Carrie Turnquist, RN and Dallas Rice LPN of NHC Heath Care of Mauldin, VIA Hospice of Greenville, and the countless caregivers who tenderly cared for Kay, in her later years.

Kay’s Celebration of Life will be held at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Services, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203 on Thursday, March 12, 2026, with visitation from 12:00pm to 1:00pm followed by the service at 1:00pm. A graveside service will follow immediately afterwards at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the Goff family kindly requests that memorials be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
