Roman Heredia, Jr. “Turkey”, 64 of Riverview, entered eternal rest on March 4, 2026. He was born to the late Roman Heredia and Josephine Lopez on August 30, 1961, in Wabash, Indiana.

Turkey enjoyed life and time he spent with his family and friends. He was a self-taught Master Chef. He would see or taste something, conceptualize a recipe in his mind which would result in a tasteful creation he would feed to those he loved.  He was a grill master at the cookout, always funny, enjoying a variety of music and “Bochincando”. Turkey was a past president of La Raza Car Club; lowrider vehicles we one of his many passions.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Josephine V. Lopez and Roman Heredia, Jr.  grandson, Michael Joseph Bermudez and three brothers.  Turkey is survived by daughters; Cherida M. Heredia, Sonia F. Heredia, son Ozzie Roman Heredia, five granddaughters, three grandsons, sister Lula, several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
