Mr. Thomas N. Cirillo, 92, of Amsterdam, died Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Albany Medical Hospital in Albany.

He was born November 11, 1933 in Gloversville, the son of late Ralph and Marguerite Orphus Cirillo. Thomas started his plumbing shop after serving in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. In July of 1952 he served as a helper apprentice and then entered the UA Local #7 in Albany, NY and became a licensed plumber until retiring on December 3, 1993. During his long and successful career as a plumber, pipefitter and heater, he was proud that he worked on many Local 7 Union projects and specifically on the Nuclear Submarine(s) at Knowles Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna. Thomas enjoyed being with family & friends, spending time outdoors and sharing his expertise in plumbing with others.

On June 23, 1957, he was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Catherine A. Nardo, who sadly passed away on November 9, 2023.

His loving family includes his son Anthony T. Cirillo of Raleigh, North Carolina and his three granddaughters, Lindsey, Shea, and Jenna, as well as his son, Ralph Cirillo of Amsterdam, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas had seven brothers and sisters.

It was Thomas's request that there be no funeral services.
