Harriet G. Clark

Harriet Gertrude Clark passed away at age 93 in Beaverton, Oregon on January 11, 2013. Harriet is survived by her daughter Carole Mathemeier (Paul) of Lafayette, Louisiana; son Rick, of Tigard, Oregon; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Harriet was born February 7, 1919 in Chicago Illinois to Theodore and Mathilda (nee Neuffer) Gruening. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernie (Bernard M) Clark; brother Alfred Gruening; and sister Winifred Zimmerman. Harriet was a homemaker and hospital volunteer for many years and then hired as a bookkeeper for Meridian Park Hospital until her retirement. A long time resident of King City, Harriet enjoyed traveling, dancing, golfing and King City Club activities. Remembrances can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Odyssey Hospice, Veterans or charity of your choice. At her request no services were held. Inurnment at Riverview Abbey, Portland.
