Roy Barr, age 66 of Redmond passed away in Portland on April 21, 2013. He was born to Bird and Margaret (Bachard) Barr in Portland, on November 22, 1946. He married Anna Steiner on September 21, 1971 in Eugene. We worked as a Fire Fighter during his working years. In his retirement he spent a lot of time as a Gym Supervisor and Study Hall Teacher at Willamette High School. He is survived by his wife Anna, sons; David of Albany, Brian (Misty), and Jason both of Eugene and 9 grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made in Roy's name to the Center for Hematological Malignancies at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute by calling 503-494-7071.
