James Zent
October 27th, 1935 - March 12th, 2017
JAMES A. ZENT, 81, of Surprise, AZ, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Banner Del Webb hospital in Sun City West, AZ. Jim was born October 27, 1935 in Fort Wayne, IN to Eldon A. Zent and Frances E. (Engleman) Zent. He moved to Arizona in 1995. Jim was a serviceman in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Everglades from November 28, 1952 until October 19, 1956. He worked in various factories and companies around Fort Wayne and had a long career self-employed as a horseshoer in Indiana and Arizona. Jim is survived by his wife Pamela S. (Ebert) Zent and by his children James A. (Rosalyn) Zent, Jr of Indianapolis IN, Jerald W. Zent, Jessie E. (Darin) Bell, Jaliene M. Zent , Joella L. (Brian) Gardiner all of Fort Wayne, IN and Todd A. (Cassandra) Zent, Eric W. Zent and Stacey M. Zent all of Surprise AZ; Sisters Donna M. Dawson, Ruth Zent of Ossian IN and Juanita Gillenwater of Riverview, FL; 19 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren and 40 Nieces and Nephews. He was preceeded in death by Ex-wife Mima (Martin) Zent, a son, John J. Zent of Auburn, IN, brothers Eldon, Walter, Lloyd and Charles Zent and Sisters Margie, Betty and Rosie, 2 Grand Children and 3 Nephews. Jim lived his life to the fullest and cherished each day with his family. He loved horses and Horse racing and owned horses until his death. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. There will be a private celebration of his Life on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
