Jose Angel Chavarria Martinez, 65, of Glendale passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, August 27th, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel Chavarria and Inez Martinez of Durango, Mexico, and siblings Petra and Clemente Chavarria of Phoenix. He is survived by his children Shane, Aaron, Amanda and Mollie Chavarria and by siblings Calistro, Maria, Providencia, Martin, and Marciana Chavarria. 
Viewing will take place on Thursday, September 13th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Samaritan Funeral Home, 1505 E. McDowell Rd. in Phoenix, AZ. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14th at 10:00 am at St. Gregory Church, 3424 18th Avenue. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 719 N. 27th Avenue.
