SILVEIRA, Wesley I., aka "Iron Addict", age 47, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010. He was born in Berkeley, CA, November 11, 1962. He is survived by his parents, Wes and Mary; his brother, Larry and sister, Stacey along with aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. He is also survived by girlfriend, Marsha Gilpin and family and special friends, Lisa Kraft and her daughter, Sabrina Parscal. Wesley explored many career avenues, but found his true passion in the world of fitness. Wesley was one of the premiere strength-training gurus in the world. He had an extensive training clientele, and his recently published books have stirred up new innovations in diet, training, and overall wellness and longevity. You can find out more about his writings at http://www.ironaddicts.com. His site will proceed under the direction of John Pinder. Iron Addict's legacy will continue to live on. A private Memorial Service for friends and family will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME, 3081 W. Orange Grove Rd., Tucson, AZ. Phone 520-297-9007. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Wesley's name to a charity of choice or to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona (1-520-327-6088). Wesley believed in kindness and love to all living things, especially those in the animal kingdom. One of his greatest joys in life came from the companionship of his seven beloved cats. There are many people around the world whose lives were impacted from knowing Wesley. He will be greatly missed.
