Candance (Candy) Ann Geissler

Candace (Candy) Ann Geissler, age 56, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home in Tucson, AZ. She was born on May 25, 1965, in Tucson to Erma Brown and Antoni Chmielowiec and was the youngest and only daughter of five children. After graduating from Sabino High School, Candy went on to become a registered nurse and gave 35 years of her life caring for her patients. She spent 17 of those years working in the operating room at University Medical Center. Candy married the love of her life, Rolf Heinz Geissler, on September 5, 1987. One of Candy’s favorite things to do was to travel to Mexico with her best friends and go to the beach. She is survived by her children, Jacob Geissler, Joshua (Giovanna) Geissler, Jonathan Geissler, Joseph Geissler, and Megan Geissler. Her three grandchildren, Jackson, Nolan and Ashton. Her brothers, Mark Chmielowiec, Jamie (Kerry) Chmielowiec, and Tony Chmielowiec and many nieces and nephews. Candy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Todd and her beloved husband, Rolf. Funeral services will be held at Faith Community Church, 2551 West Orange Grove Road, Tucson.
