Janice Anne Kowalski
February 21st, 1960 - May 26th, 2023
Janice Anne Kowalski went home to Jesus on May 26, 2023 at age 63 surrounded by family. Her loss was unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. Janice was born to Dorothy Ferguson in Chicago, Illinois in 1960. She married husband, Alan Kowalski, in Tucson, Arizona in 1991. Janice worked as a cosmetologist for 45 years and held her clients close to her heart, although her greatest joy was dedicating her time to her family. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Janice joins in heaven her mother, Dorothy, father in law, John Kowalski, brothers, Francis Walawender, and John Walawender, and sister, Mildred Walawender. She is survived by many loving family members including her husband, Alan, daughters, Ronnal Lippman, Rose [Ronnie] Taylor, and Patricia [Keenan] McGrane, Mother in Law, Patricia Kowalski, brothers, James Walawender, Paul Walawender, and Daniel Plante, sisters, Patricia Walawender, Judith Walawender, and Debra Walawender, grandchildren, Austin [Taylor] Catt, Dylan Lippman, Madison Lippman, Tristan McGrane, Rory McGrane, and Killian McGrane, great-granddaughters, Payton Catt and Ava Catt, Uncle, Charles [Debra] Lane, and many other close family and friends that will miss her more than words can say. Anyone who knew Janice knew that she was thoughtful, caring, and always a source of light and positivity. No service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a memorial is scheduled.
