Fran Marie Duel
May 3rd, 1935 - September 21st, 2017
Fran Marie Duel Passed away peacefully on September, 21, 2017, in Watsonville, at the age of 82. She was a very sweet, compassionate, and loving person who would do anything to help someone in need. Fran started the Duel of Fours, Bowling League 46 years ago on Thursday nights at the Surf bowl. She considered her teammates family and she was loved and respected by so many. She will be deeply missed by all. Fran is survived by her loving husband of 85 year's Keith Duel, her daughter, Jodi and Jeff Commins, son, Ron and Leenora Duel, brothers, John and Eloise Goni, and Dwayne and Lenora Goni, grandchildren, Brandon Commins and Kristen Leicht, and great grandchildren, Andrew and Zach Leicht. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the United Methodist Church of Santa Cruz, from 11am to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor New York, NY 10001, or please visit the web site at ALZFDN.org, in memory of Fran Duel.
