Josefita M. Lucero

Josefita M. Lucero, age 92, went to be with the lord in the early morning on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. She was born in Tome NM., December 19, 1920. Josifita is preceded in death by her husband, Jose B. Lucero; daughter, Mary Carson; son, Joe B. Lucero; grandsons, Michael Carson and Greg Lopez and granddaughter, Cindy Lucero. She is survived by her sons, Manuel Lucero his wife Lucille, Richard Lucero his wife Josie and Anthony Lucero; her daughters, Mela Lopez her husband Jake, Connie Zamora and her husband Gilbert, Theresa Coddins and her husband Jerry and Esther Saenz and her husband Leo; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Josifita will be greatly missed by her family and friends. All services will be held at the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE., on Sunday, June 16, 2013 beginning with a viewing at 6:00 PM followed recitation of the Holy at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 17, 2013 at St Francis Xavier Church, located at 820 Broadway Blvd. SE at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eloy Lopez, Andy Lopez, Richardo Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Raul Gallegos and Gilbert Zamora.
