Dimas A. Padilla, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2012. He was a two time cancer survivor. Mr. Padilla is preceded in death by his mother, Irene Baca; father, Celso Padilla and three brothers, Ishmael, Victor and Manuel Padilla. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Corrine Padilla; three children, LeRoy Padilla and his wife Carmen, Donna Padilla Chavez and James Padilla and his wife Loretta; ten grandchildren, Leroy Padilla II, Regina Vallejos, Julie Padilla, Charleen Saucedo, April Armstrong, Dimas Padilla, Victoria Padilla-Mendez and her husband Devan, Anthony Padilla, Eric Padilla and Leandra Padilla; twelve great-grandchildren, Santana Padilla, Haylan Padilla, Savannah Padilla-Mendez, Aniya Padilla, Isaiah Padilla, Chyann Barela, Andrea Vallejos, Deanna Prieto, Silas Abeyta and Nasiah, Zarius and Aizzlyn Perea; two siblings, Tony Romero and his wife Amanda and Mrs. Patricia Rael, as well as many nieces, nephews and countless family members who loved and adored him. Services will be held on Tuesday May 1st, 2012 at Riverside Los Lunas Chapel, 820 Main St NE, beginning with a viewing at 9:30am. Rosary will be recited at 10:00am with a Funeral service to begin at 10:30am. Burial will follow at the Los Lentes Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leroy Padilla II, Julie Padilla, Dimas Padilla, Anthony Padilla, Eric Padilla, and Leandra Padilla; Honorary Pallbearers will be Regina Vallejos, Charleen Saucedo, and Victoria Padilla-Mendez.
