 Msgt. John "Jack" Thorpe was called home to the angels on September 1, 2018. Son of Robert and Una Thorpe, Jack is survived by daughters Michelle and Cindy, grandchildren Darrel, Victoria, Steven and Nicolle and great-grandchildren Kayleigh and Evan. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force as a Medic for 20 years and earned a Master's Degree in Counseling during that time. Jack was an Eagle Scout, avid outdoorsman, firearms instructor and lifetime member of the NRA. A favorite hobby was diagnosing and repairing computers. Jack was a kind and gentle soul who would help his friends in any way he could.    November 25, 1945 – September 1, 2018    In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Albuquerque VA Medical Center.    Arrangements entrusted to:  Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque  225 San Mateo Blvd. NE  (505) 764-9663 Â
