Richard A. Johnson passed away from this life on Wednesday, the 9th of April, 2014. Richard was born on November 28, 1961 in London, England to the late Samuel A. and Mavis Johnson. Richard attended schools in Shepherd Bush and Holland Park, England. He completed his high school education in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Richard served in the United States Navy Reserve and he was a certified plumber. Richard was an active member of Exciting Central Tampa Baptist Church where he served on the Adult, Mass, and Men’s choirs and in the Facilities ministry. He also was a member of the Heir Force Bible Fellowship Class. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Arnettia Clark. He also leaves 3 step-children: Tameka, Takesha, and Aisha; 5 siblings: Cindy, Heverly, Jennifer, Keith (Ronnie), and Patricia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, many friends, and well-wishers. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, at Exciting Central Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, at Florida Mortuary Funeral Home.
