Caban, Ramona Alicia 77, of Saint Petersburg, passed Sunday, February 17, 2013. Born in San German, Puerto Rico, she came here in 1951. She was a member of the Puerto Rican Club Red Hat Society. Alice came to the States, and lived in Michigan for many years before moving to Florida, in 1980. She loved to swim and playing cards and Bingo. Traveling was a passion; she enjoyed Las Vegas, or other places where she could do a bit of gambling. She was a marvelous mother, and a bright light in the hearts of her family. She was easily the biggest influence in her children's lives, and was always willing to give good advice, whether her children wanted it or not. She was a perfect wife, and loved her husband Severiano. She and Severiano passed on to her children values that made them the wonderful people they are today. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Monserate Villabol. She will forever be missed by her children Elizabeth Caban, Thelma Wier, Rose Raber, Alvin Caban and his wife Sherry, Severiano Jr., and his wife Mindy, and Alice Caban and her husband Michael Manfre; 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Donations may be made in her name to PARC would be greatly appreciated, and can be made at http://www.parc-fl.org/.
