Laura Jean Hamilton passed away July 20, 2011. She was born on October 15, 1952 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. She moved to Tampa, FL in 2010 to be close to family. She loved going to the beach and cooking for family gatherings and holidays. Her kindness was infectious and felt by all who knew her or met her. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Ethel Horlick of Muskogee, Oklahoma. She is survived by her daughter, Courtney Meurer and husband Raphael, and their daughters Olivia Grace and Genevieve Rose of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her son, Private Matthew Hamilton of Ft. Hood, Texas and his daughter Jade. She was the sister of Bob Horlick and wife Pat of Tampa, FL; Steve Horlick and wife Carolyn of Katy, TX; Rick Horlick of Muskogee, OK; Jeff Horlick and wife Cindy of Fayetteville, AR; and David Horlick and wife Suzanne of Fayetteville, AR. A memorial service to celebrate Laura’s life will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, 1700 Old Taft Road, Muskogee, OK., 74401.
